The talks titled The Rajneesh Bible, Vol. 4 (From Misery to Enlightenment) were given in Oregon from January 29, 1985 to February 27, 1985.

In October and November of the same year the world witnessed Osho being arrested and driven from the country. Why should a country as large and powerful as the US feel fearful enough of Osho to attack him the way it did?

The reasons become apparent in the talks in this series. As Osho says in one of the discourses, "Coming to America has been a tremendous disappointment. There is no democracy anywhere - neither in America, nor in the Soviet Union, nor anywhere else. It is only a word that politicians have been exploiting."
