Gorakh is one of the four people that Osho calls “the foundation stones of Indian mysticism.” He is directand to the point, earthy, an “unpolished diamond,” who doesn’t allow any detoursor side-stepping on the path to self-realization.

…with Gorakh came a new beginning to this country. Just as without Patanjali there would be no possibility of yoga in India, and without Buddha the foundation stone of meditation would be uprooted, and without Krishna the expression of love would find no path, similarly, without Gorakh the search that began for various techniques and the systems that developed to attain to the ultimate truth and the systems of spiritual practice could not have been possible.
